Working together on sustainable workplaces
At VGZ in Eindhoven we could, together with Rever interieurprojecten, contribute to a nice step towards a more sustainable work environment. No new furniture, but smart reuse of what was already there.
The working environment of VGZ was designed with both sustainability and well-being in mind. As part of their mission to create the workplace of tomorrow, a circular approach was adopted with 87% of the furniture being reused.
In addition to the focus on sustainability, the balance between the physical health and mental well-being of employees was crucial. A healthy work environment not only promotes productivity and job satisfaction, but also plays an important role in supporting a more sustainable society. This project is an example of how a circular workplace contributes to both employee well-being and an organization's carbon footprint.
Desks in a new look
VGZ had some excellent desk frames left, but after a few years of intensive use, they could use some love. We picked up the frames, checked them at our warehouse, repaired them where necessary and then fitted them with brand new work surfaces. This makes them ready again for years to come.
Walls with a second life
For the partitions we also came up with a nice sustainable solution. We used old wall panels that served at a major sporting event last year. We have completely customized and re-upholstered them, completely in the colors and fabric that VGZ has chosen for their office. Nicely reused and perfectly suited to their new look.
Delivered to perfection
Naturally, we delivered everything ourselves and placed it neatly with our drivers and co-drivers. This way we were sure that everything was in place and could be used immediately. A great result that we are proud of together with VGZ and Rever.
