Tuesday, April 2 from 3:00-4:00 pm - free
The organization and design of the office environment is changing explosively. This is due in part to the rise of hybrid working, but certainly also to stringent sustainability policy guidelines such as the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive). As of 2024, this will require more and more companies to report on the impact of their activities on people and our living environment. Data about your working environment play an important role in this. You want to know where each piece of furniture is and what kind of condition it is in. What the composition of the furniture you use is, what can be repurposed and you want it to have a next life when you no longer need it. But, how do you get the right data and insight? And how can you realize your ambitions?
On this topic, Smart WorkPlace is hosting an interactive webinar in partnership with Alvero Office Furniture Rental.

CSRD as accelerator for a circular work environment.
From 2024, compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) will become a reporting requirement for listed companies, with a focus on aspects such as carbon emissions and circularity. Just one year later, large companies will also have to comply. But what exactly does this mean for the workplace? How can you best prepare for these profound changes?
Jeff takes you through the practical implications of the CSRD, demonstrating how this directive not only presents challenges but also opportunities through concrete examples.
Hans Reineke
Circular revitalization of the Alfa College in Hoogeveen
Here the task was to realize an environment in which circularity was incorporated into a future-oriented, revitalized educational environment. At each educational location, the content of the courses had to be seen in action. With this request from Alfa College, Hoogeveen, a fully circular design, construction and interior team began the design process.
Brigitte de Haan-Ketelaars
Furniture management in practice
The Housing program at Senzer is about more than buildings, wallpaper and furniture. Housing has a supporting function in the way we work and provide services in a broad sense. Redesigning the working environment to better suit the way of working. So that Senzer is flexible, resilient and future-proof. The latter also includes making sustainable choices. Consciously opting for 'reduce, reuse, recycle, refurbish and repair'. But how do you do that?
Brigitte takes you through how a furniture management system helps her in making the right choices. Brigitte does that now for Senzer and has done it in the recent past for the working environment of the RIVM.
