More and more often our clients redesign their working environment after some time, for example because they are looking for more atmosphere or other functionalities. Because such an issue goes beyond delivering and placing new furniture, we take a more thorough approach. In collaboration with interior designer Suzan Vromans, we first develop a design. As an extra service for our customers.
Suzan Vromans specializes in interiors for business spaces, offices and private living and residence spaces. This is precisely why she is regularly involved in our projects. Since she can draw from our large stock of A-brand furniture and accessories, there are few limitations. Moreover, her extensive knowledge of the Alvero range ensures a design that completely meets the needs of our clients.
Suzan talks about a collaboration that goes back some 15 years. "We know how to find each other because our way of thinking is the same: easy-going and flexible. The warmth and personal touch of Alvero, that's what I like most about the cooperation. It's not about shuffling chairs, it's about the whole experience, the atmosphere around it. Alvero calls me and it also happens the other way around: I recently had a customer who was moving and needed temporary furniture to bridge the gap. Alvero took care of that in no time."

Add atmosphere
The homey atmosphere is something that more and more employers desire in the office, so that employees like to come over there. Then standard desks without decoration no longer suffice and we are happy to fly in a specialist. "I know Alvero's stock completely and when Reinier Nederhoed calls me for advice, I know exactly what I can put in and what adjustments I can make in terms of materials. With individual items and accessories, it's fun and easy to vary and transform an office.
With an existing office, there are often many fixed details: the ceiling, the floor, the lighting. In the work environment, atmosphere was often an underrated child. Within all the fixed data, you still want to be able to do your thing to make it interesting: what could be done differently to make it atmospheric, to keep it flexible? For a recent project, not only did I incorporate additional curtains and rugs into the design, we also developed custom lighting together with Ako Panel, a good relation of Alvero. Of course, I can get a cool lamp from somewhere. But it's more interesting to see how we can realize that with the team itself."

Fast results
More atmosphere is not the only benefit. "Buying and renting furniture is about 50/50. You find that with renting you are very flexible if you want to use a space in a different way; you can easily achieve that and put it up within a very short time. With buying, you choose something and it is very final, you are stuck with it. Moreover, you have to wait longer for it."
